Easterners

The Easterners are explorers and settlers who have just begun to experience the Frontier. Most of the first Easterners were hunters and trappers, followed by exiles and outcasts either escaping persecution or forced to flee. Their experiences in the Frontier inspired the first few wagons to cross into the Plains, carrying families, animals and heavy metal tools. Now, all kinds of Easterners are getting their first glimpse of this vast world: alchemists, mages, mystics, adventurers, profiteers, rich and poor, young and old.

There has never been country like this. Don’t think I ever felt so small.
— Curtis Ridgway, upon his return from the High Plains
